Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key categories of spend, aiming for cost reduction and improved supplier performance.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess risks, and understand cost drivers.
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, service level agreements, and contract terms.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring ongoing collaboration and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure sourcing initiatives meet business needs.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in strategic sourcing to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or a senior buyer role.
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and achieve substantial cost savings.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in market analysis and total cost of ownership modelling.
• Excellent understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management principles.
• Proficiency in using e-sourcing tools and advanced procurement systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
