Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive stress analysis and structural integrity assessments using FEA software.
- Develop and validate finite element models for complex mechanical components and assemblies.
- Analyze results from simulations, identifying potential failure modes and areas of concern.
- Provide clear, concise reports and recommendations to design and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with designers to optimize structures for strength, stiffness, and weight.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in simulation technology and analytical methods.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering , Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on structural analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Proficiency with industry-standard FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran).
- Strong understanding of mechanics of materials, solid mechanics, and structural dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively and communicate professionally in a remote team setting.
