About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Structural Civil Engineer to join their remote team, supporting projects across the UK , with a focus on contributions to their operations supporting Northern Ireland. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who excels in structural analysis and design, working independently and collaboratively with digital tools. You will be responsible for the structural integrity and design of various building and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. This role offers the unique advantage of remote work, providing flexibility while engaging in challenging and impactful engineering endeavours.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of civil engineering structures, including bridges, buildings, and foundations.
- Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
- Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines remotely.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and construction proposals.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving for ongoing projects managed from Belfast .
Requirements
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Significant professional experience in structural engineering design.
- Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).
- Thorough knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant building regulations.
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage workload and deliver high-quality results autonomously.
