Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of structural elements for civil engineering projects, ensuring safety, durability, and efficiency.
- Produce detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using advanced software.
- Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for existing or new infrastructure.
- Collaborate virtually with project managers, designers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering materials, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in technical reviews and quality assurance processes for structural designs.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Robot Structural Analysis) and CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Eurocodes and UK structural design standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
