About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Structural Civil Engineer to join their established engineering consultancy based in Bradford . This role focuses on the structural integrity and design aspects of various civil engineering projects, including buildings, bridges, and infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that all structures meet rigorous safety and performance standards, working closely with architects and other engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze the structural elements of civil engineering projects, including foundations, beams, columns, and retaining walls.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, British Standards, and Eurocodes.
• Conduct structural assessments and site inspections to evaluate existing conditions and proposed designs.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical expertise on structural engineering matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro , Robot Structural Analysis, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of materials like concrete, steel, and masonry.
• Excellent understanding of structural dynamics and seismic design principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
