Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various types of structures, including buildings, bridges, and retaining walls.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using specialized software.
• Ensure all structural designs comply with the latest building codes, British Standards, and Eurocodes.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and construction teams to achieve integrated project solutions.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and technical assessments for new structural projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structures, or a related degree.
• Proven experience in structural analysis and design, with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar.
• Thorough understanding of materials science (concrete, steel, timber) and construction techniques.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment, balancing office-based tasks with site visits as required in Bradford .
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in design and documentation.
