Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types, including new builds and refurbishments.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications using relevant design software.
• Conduct structural surveys and condition assessments of existing buildings and infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with architects, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Ensure all designs comply with current British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant building regulations.
• Provide technical support and site supervision during the construction phase to resolve design-related queries.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes and UK building regulations relating to structures.
• Experience with various construction materials, including steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
