Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new builds, extensions, and refurbishments.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with architects and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Undertake structural investigations and produce reports for existing buildings.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building regulations and British Standards .

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., IStructE, ICE).
• Proven experience in structural design across various construction types.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro , Tekla Structural Designer, or similar.
• Strong understanding of materials science and construction methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
