About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Structural Engineer to become an integral part of their design team in Manchester . Key Responsibilities
- Undertake structural analysis and design for new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors.
- Produce detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications for structural elements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure construction quality.
- Liaise effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced members of the engineering team.
Requirements
- A BEng or MEng degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Revit Structure, STAAD.Pro).
- Solid understanding of building materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage project tasks efficiently.
