Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Structural Engineer to become an integral part of their design team in Manchester . You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of buildings, collaborating closely with architects and contractors. Key Responsibilities

Undertake structural analysis and design for new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors.
Produce detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications for structural elements.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure construction quality.
Liaise effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced members of the engineering team.

Requirements

A BEng or MEng degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in structural engineering.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Revit Structure, STAAD.Pro).
Solid understanding of building materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage project tasks efficiently.
