Structural Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Structural Engineer to join their established team in Belfast . You will be involved in the design and analysis of a variety of building structures, ensuring their integrity, safety, and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural elements for new builds and refurbishments across various sectors.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site visits to inspect progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Undertake structural surveys and assessments of existing buildings.
• Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and relevant British Standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer , with a portfolio of diverse projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., TEDDS, Robot Structural Analysis, Revit).
• Strong understanding of material properties and construction techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full membership or working towards professional chartership with IStructE or ICE.
