About the Role

Our client is looking for a qualified and motivated Structural Engineer to join their team in Belfast . You will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of various construction projects, ensuring safety, integrity, and compliance with building regulations. This is a key role in developing robust engineering solutions for exciting projects across Northern Ireland . The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence in structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a range of building types and scales.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for structural elements.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any structural issues.
• Ensure all designs comply with current UK building regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional qualification such as MICE or MIStructE is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in structural design and analysis for building structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Revit Structure).
• Strong understanding of material properties and structural behaviour.
