About the Role

Our client, a leading structural engineering consultancy in Leeds , is seeking a talented and ambitious Structural Engineer to join their dedicated team. You will be involved in the design and analysis of a wide range of building structures, contributing to innovative and sustainable construction solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new build and refurbishment projects using industry-standard software.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design drawings.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design integrity.
• Undertake structural surveys and investigations of existing buildings.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and British Standards.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in structural design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot Structural Analysis).
• Good understanding of concrete , steel , and timber design principles.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Working towards or recently achieved chartered engineer status (MIStructE or MICE).
