About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This role involves the design, analysis, and oversight of structural elements for a variety of construction projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure, all managed from a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and other structures using advanced software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports for structural systems.
- Collaborate remotely with architects, contractors, and clients to resolve design challenges and ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Conduct peer reviews of structural designs and calculations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the construction phase.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering .
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent relevant chartership (e.g., MICE, MIStructE).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis for construction projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and relevant codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, particularly in a remote work setting.
