Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design validation using FEA and other simulation techniques.
- Develop and optimize mechanical designs for strength, stiffness, and fatigue life.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to design intent.
- Conduct material selection and testing to meet structural requirements.
- Investigate structural failures and recommend design modifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a focus on structures.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis and design .
- Expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN).
- Strong understanding of mechanics of materials, solid mechanics, and dynamics.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and drawing creation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
