About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Subsea Engineer to join their remote-first engineering team. This position is crucial for the design, analysis, and deployment of subsea systems for offshore Oil & Gas projects . You will collaborate with a global team of experts, leveraging advanced software and digital tools to deliver state-of-the-art solutions from your home office. The role demands a strong understanding of subsea hardware, fluid dynamics, and structural integrity in challenging marine environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze subsea structures, equipment, and flowlines for offshore field developments.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations for buoyancy, hydrodynamics, and structural loads.
• Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for subsea equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams, fabricators, and installation contractors remotely.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., DNV, API).
• Support the fabrication, testing, and installation phases of subsea projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, or Offshore Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proficiency in subsea design and analysis software (e.g., OrcaFlex, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of subsea production systems, umbilical, and pipeline design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective remote communication and collaboration skills.
