Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Subsea Engineer to join their team based in Bristol . This role is central to the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea production systems and infrastructure. You will apply your expertise in subsea hardware, fluid dynamics, and project management to ensure the successful execution of offshore projects. The position requires a blend of office-based engineering and potential travel to support offshore activities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex solutions in challenging offshore environments within the Oil & Gas industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and procure subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, and control systems.
• Develop installation procedures and support offshore execution.
• Perform structural, mechanical, and hydraulic analyses for subsea components.
• Manage interfaces with other subsea and topside systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for existing subsea assets.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong knowledge of subsea hardware, installation techniques, and operations.
• Familiarity with subsea control systems and power distribution.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
