Supply Chain Analyst - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team in Leeds . This role focuses on optimizing the entire supply chain process for their extensive FMCG product range, from procurement to delivery. You will be instrumental in identifying inefficiencies, developing data-driven solutions, and contributing to cost reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of supply chain operations within the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize inventory levels, demand forecasting, and production planning to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the supply chain, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance logistics efficiency, transportation routes, and warehousing operations.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to streamline processes and resolve operational issues.
• Utilize advanced analytics and data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations to management.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and best practices within the FMCG framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and supply chain software.
• Experience with inventory management systems and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
