Supply Chain Analyst - FMCG

About the Role

Our client, a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations based in Belfast . This role is integral to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain network, ensuring timely delivery of products while managing costs. You will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements to enhance logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining office-based collaboration with remote flexibility, within a crucial sector of the economy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Optimize inventory levels across multiple locations to minimize holding costs and prevent stock-outs.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Monitor logistics operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Prepare regular reports on supply chain activities and key performance indicators for management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related role within the FMCG industry .
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of logistics, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a quantitative field.
