About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team, offering a hybrid working model. This role is crucial for optimizing the performance of our client's supply chain operations through rigorous analysis and strategic recommendations. You will delve into complex datasets to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and enhance operational strategies. Working collaboratively with both on-site and remote colleagues, you will contribute to significant improvements in cost, efficiency, and service levels across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement in inventory management and logistics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels effectively.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives and present findings to management.
- Assist in optimizing transportation routes and carrier performance to reduce costs and lead times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of experience in a supply chain analyst or similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and ideally BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, forecasting techniques, and inventory management strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment , collaborating with both in-office and remote team members.
