About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is integral to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their FMCG supply chain operations, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying bottlenecks, developing solutions, and implementing improvements to reduce costs and enhance service levels. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain reports on key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) to implement process improvements.
- Support inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting supply chain partners and technologies.
- Monitor and forecast demand patterns to ensure supply chain responsiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within FMCG .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effective in a remote working environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business, or a related field.
