Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Oxford . This role will focus on analysing supply chain data, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the optimisation of inventory, logistics, and demand planning, contributing significantly to the strategic direction of their supply chain operations from their Oxford base.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain data to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics (KPIs).
• Support demand forecasting and inventory planning processes.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to implement efficiency improvements.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and ideally BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
