Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and strategic Supply Chain Analyst to join their team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing complex supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation. You will develop reports, create forecasts, and provide insights that guide critical business decisions. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your analytical expertise to optimize our client's global logistics and supply chain operations from anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain performance data, including transportation costs, inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key supply chain metrics and performance indicators.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain network.
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, procurement, operations) and external partners to gather data and implement recommendations.
• Assist in developing supply chain strategies, network designs, and contingency plans.
• Forecast demand and supply, and model the impact of various scenarios on supply chain costs and service levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role within logistics or operations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with supply chain modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
