Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Leeds . This role is critical for optimizing the flow of goods from sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain for our diverse range of FMCG products. You will leverage data analysis to identify trends, improve processes, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Working within a dynamic operational environment, you will play a key part in maintaining the smooth and efficient delivery of our products to market.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
• Develop and maintain reports on key supply chain metrics, including cost, efficiency, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve supply chain issues and ensure timely product availability.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process enhancements.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend strategies to optimize stock, reduce waste, and minimize holding costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or analyst role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, or similar; experience with supply chain planning software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
