Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh . This role is critical in examining and improving the efficiency of our client's supply chain operations. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to inventory, logistics, and supplier performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to management. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the supply chain.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
• Conduct research on market trends and best practices to inform supply chain strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended changes and monitor their impact.
• Forecast demand and assess potential risks within the supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and operations.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
