About the Role

Our client seeks a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team in Sunderland . This hybrid role is crucial for optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement to final delivery. You will analyze complex data sets, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategic recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills and a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful business decisions within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the supply chain.
Model and forecast demand, inventory levels, and transportation needs.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to implement supply chain improvements.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies or strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
Familiarity with supply chain best practices and methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings clearly.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with essential office-based collaboration in Sunderland .
