About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team, working remotely but supporting operations based in Cardiff . In this role, you will analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. You will play a key role in developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise inventory management across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data-driven professional to contribute to the strategic development of supply chain operations from a remote setting, leveraging insights to drive impactful decisions for the business based in Wales .

Key Responsibilities

Analyse supply chain data to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
Support the procurement process by analysing supplier performance and costs.
Research and recommend innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL , and ideally BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
