About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team, working remotely but supporting operations based in Cardiff . In this role, you will analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. You will play a key role in developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise inventory management across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse supply chain data to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Support the procurement process by analysing supplier performance and costs.
- Research and recommend innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL , and ideally BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
