About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and organised Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Birmingham . This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and information throughout the supply chain, supporting both inbound and outbound logistics. You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish stock as needed.
• Process shipping documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies that may arise during the transportation process.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role .
• Familiarity with transportation management and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using ERP or WMS software .
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
