Are you an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager with a background in a highly regulated manufacturing environment such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aerospace, automotive or chemicals?

An expanding manufacturing business is seeking a driven Supply Chain Planning Manager to take ownership of planning activities across multiple sites. With continued growth and increasing customer demand, the business requires a strong leader who can develop the team, introduce greater planning structure and help create a more strategic supply chain operation.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping future planning capability while supporting a business that continues to grow and invest in its operations.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing the planning team, creating a high-performance culture focused on service and delivery

• Managing end-to-end supply chain planning activities across demand, supply, production and inventory

• Developing strategic planning processes to improve visibility, responsiveness and operational performance

• Embedding and managing effective S&OP processes across the business

• Ensuring inventory levels remain optimised whilst supporting customer service and compliance requirements

• Monitoring forecasting accuracy, planning performance and key supply chain KPIs

• Supporting long-term capacity planning and growth initiatives

• Driving continuous improvement projects across planning systems and operational processes

• Utilising ERP/MRP systems to support data-led planning decisions

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a Supply Chain Planning Manager, Planning Manager or Supply Chain leadership role

• Background within a highly regulated manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory control, production planning and supply chain management

• Proven people management experience with a track record of developing successful teams

• Experience implementing planning improvements and driving organisational change

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• ERP/MRP systems experience

• A proactive approach with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day operational demands
