Supply Chain Planner - FMCG

About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Planner to join their operations team in Leeds . This role is integral to ensuring the efficient flow of goods from production to the end consumer, focusing on demand forecasting, inventory management, and optimizing logistics. Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Create and manage production and inventory plans to meet forecasted demand while minimizing costs.
• Monitor stock levels across the network and implement strategies to optimize inventory.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or inventory management, preferably within FMCG .
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced planning software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business, or a related field.
