Role Highlights for a Supply Teacher

Position: Supply Teacher. Pay: £150-£220 per day, depending on experience and assignment. Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire. Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks. Working pattern: Flexible daily and short-term supply.Your Role as a Supply Teacher

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver learning during staff absence and help pupils continue their school day with clear routines and expectations.

Teach prepared primary lessons and adapt explanations to support pupils' understanding. Manage the classroom in line with the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies. Work with teaching assistants and use relevant information about pupils' learning needs. Provide feedback on work completed and undertake planning or assessment agreed for the booking.What We Are Looking For in a Supply Teacher

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with primary teaching experience. A confident Supply Teacher with sound curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management. The ability to settle quickly into new school teams and communicate clearly.
