Primary Supply Teacher - Northampton and Surrounding Areas Position: Primary Supply Teacher Location: Northampton, Wellingborough, Corby, Kettering, Rushden Hours: Typically 8:30am-3:30pm Contract: Daily Supply and Longer-Term Assignments Essential Qualification: QTS Additional Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence and Access to a Car
The Opportunity We are seeking professional, motivated and reliable QTS-qualified Primary Teachers to undertake supply assignments across primary schools in Northampton and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who value flexibility and enjoy working within a range of educational settings. Opportunities are available for daily supply cover and longer-term placements, depending on school requirements and candidate availability.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching in accordance with provided lesson plans and curriculum objectives. Establish and maintain effective classroom management. Promote a positive, inclusive and productive learning environment. Adapt to the needs of different primary year groups and school settings. Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with school staff and support continuity of learning. Ensure pupils remain engaged, supported and safe throughout the school day. Candidate Requirements Applicants must demonstrate:
Current Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous primary school teaching experience. Strong classroom leadership and behaviour management skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Professionalism, reliability and adaptability. The ability to work across different primary year groups. A full UK driving licence and access to a car to travel between assignments. Working Arrangements Assignments are available across Northampton and nearby areas, with typical working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The role offers a combination of daily supply work and potential longer-term opportunities. Placements will depend on school requirements, your experience and your availability.
