Support Worker - Community Services

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join their vibrant Community Services team based in Coventry . This hybrid role involves providing essential hands-on care and emotional support to individuals within their own homes and community settings, complemented by remote administrative and planning tasks. You will play a crucial part in enabling clients to live more independent and fulfilling lives by assisting with daily living activities, promoting social inclusion, and offering a listening ear. Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and medication management.
• Support clients in engaging with community activities, appointments, and social events.

• Accurately record client progress, observations, and any changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with the care team to review and update care plans, both in person and remotely.
• Promote client independence and well-being through encouragement and practical assistance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote and on-site team.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
• Basic IT skills for remote communication and record-keeping.
