Job Description
Onpoint Care is a trusted and well-established temporary staffing agency, providing high-quality staffing support to care providers across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting experienced, compassionate and reliable Support Workers in Maidstone and the surrounding areas to join our flexible agency team. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of services, including care homes, supported living services, children’s residential homes and community-based services, supporting both adults and children to live safely, confidently and as independently as possible. What We’re Looking For Skills & Attributes We are looking for Support Workers who are:
- Excellent communicators who understand the importance of confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Compassionate, patient and committed to delivering person-centred support
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage their time effectively
- Adaptable and confident working across different care settings
- Confident supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge
- Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Caring and supportive when working with both adults and children
- Able to work independently as well as part of a wider care team Qualifications & Requirements To join our team, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 months' UK experience within adult or children's support work, care or residential services
- Willingness to complete our induction and all required mandatory training
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- An Enhanced DBS and satisfactory employment references
- The Right to Work in the UK
