Support Worker

Autism Support Worker - Fife £13.45 - £14.00 per hour | Temp to Perm HRC Recruitment is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting adults with autism in their own home in Lochgelly, Fife. This is a 2:1 support service, providing 24/7 support through a rota consisting of both day shifts and sleepovers. We're looking for someone with a friendly, fun and enthusiastic personality who enjoys helping others live fulfilling, independent lives. What you'll be doing:

• Supporting adultd to live as independently as possible in their own home
• Encouraging hobbies, interests and community activities such as shopping, walks, meals out and days out
• Providing personal care and supporting with daily living tasks
• Helping to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
• Building a positive, trusting relationship and promoting choice and independence
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred support We're looking for:
• At least 6 months' UK support work experience
• A friendly, caring and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting others
• A driving licence is desirable but not essential
