About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Supported Living Officer to join their team in Norwich , operating on a hybrid basis. This role is dedicated to overseeing and managing supported living services for individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities and mental health challenges. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, support staff management, and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of supported living properties and associated service users.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
- Develop, implement, and review person-centred support plans in collaboration with service users and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular property inspections and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
- Liaise with external agencies, families, and health professionals to coordinate care packages.
- Handle operational issues, including staff scheduling, incident reporting, and budget management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within supported living or a similar social care setting.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social care, particularly for learning disabilities and mental health.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a hybrid workload, balancing office-based duties with community visits in Norwich .
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent) are highly desirable.
