About Schoolreaders
Schoolreaders is the UK's largest in-school reading support charity, working with primary schools in every county in England. Our guiding belief is simple: every child should learn to read well.
We recruit, train and support volunteers to provide free, weekly one-to-one reading support to children who need extra help. Today, our volunteers support more than 40,000 children each week, and with growing demand from schools, we are continuing to expand our reach and impact.

This varied role combines creative promotion of fundraising opportunities, excellent supporter relationship management, and the planning and coordination of successful events. - Support the delivery of events, including attending occasional evening and weekend events where required.
- Maintain records of prospects, supporters, events and fundraising activity on Salesforce (CRM).
- Use CRM data to track supporter journeys, identify opportunities and inform future fundraising activity.

- Support the wider Schoolreaders Team as required, including our volunteer County Teams, to maximise opportunities for fundraising and contribute to a positive collaborative team culture.
- Monitor online giving platforms.
- Ensure the role is carried out in accordance with fundraising legislation.
