About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Architect to join their innovative team, working remotely. This role focuses on integrating sustainable design principles and practices into all aspects of architectural projects. You will be instrumental in advising design teams, clients, and stakeholders on strategies to enhance environmental performance, reduce carbon footprints, and achieve green building certifications. This is a crucial position for an architect passionate about creating environmentally responsible and resilient built environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies for architectural projects, aligning with client goals and environmental targets.
• Conduct energy modeling, life cycle assessments (LCAs), and carbon footprint analyses.
• Advise on sustainable materials, building systems, and passive design techniques.
• Support design teams in achieving green building certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in sustainable architecture and disseminate knowledge across the practice.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong focus on sustainable design and environmental performance.
• Experience with environmental assessment tools and green building rating systems (BREEAM, LEED, Passivhaus).
• Knowledge of energy modeling software and LCA tools is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of carbon reduction strategies and circular economy principles in construction.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, suitable for a remote role.
