About the Role

You will work closely with design teams to develop strategies that minimize environmental impact, optimize resource use, and enhance building performance. Key Responsibilities

• Integrate sustainable design strategies into architectural projects from the early concept stages.
• Conduct energy modeling and environmental performance analysis using relevant software tools.
• Advise on sustainable materials, technologies, and construction methods.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability certification standards (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to define sustainability goals and targets for projects in Scotland .
• Research and promote innovative solutions for climate-resilient and low-carbon architecture.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong passion and demonstrable expertise in sustainable design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural practice, with a focus on sustainability.
• Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and energy modeling software.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental building science, lifecycle assessment, and renewable energy systems.
• Experience with green building certification schemes.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
