About the Role

Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Sustainability Architect to join their innovative team in Bristol . This role is central to embedding sustainable design principles across all projects, from early concept stages through to detailed design and construction. You will be responsible for advising on energy efficiency, material selection, environmental performance, and achieving high sustainability certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED). Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies for architectural projects.
• Conduct energy modeling, life cycle assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
• Advise on sustainable material sourcing, passive design strategies, and renewable energy integration.
• Support project teams in achieving environmental certifications like BREEAM and LEED.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging sustainability technologies and regulations.
• Prepare sustainability reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong focus on sustainability.
• Experience in sustainable design principles, environmental assessment tools, and building performance analysis.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., IES VE, Revit, energy modeling tools).
• Knowledge of green building standards and certifications.
• Excellent analytical skills and a passion for environmental design.
• Strong communication skills to effectively integrate sustainability into design processes.
