About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and promote best practices in organic farming, agroecology, and regenerative agriculture.
• Conduct assessments of current farming practices and recommend improvements for environmental sustainability.
• Research and evaluate innovative technologies and methods for reducing water usage, soil erosion, and greenhouse gas emissions.
• Provide remote guidance and support to farmers and agricultural organizations on adopting sustainable practices.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, environmental consulting, or agricultural research.
• Strong understanding of ecological principles, soil health, biodiversity, and climate change impacts on agriculture.
• Proven ability to develop and implement practical sustainability strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in remote collaboration.
