About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainable design strategies and solutions across all project phases.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and lifecycle analyses for proposed designs.
• Specify sustainable materials, systems, and technologies to minimize carbon footprint and resource consumption.
• Lead efforts to achieve recognized sustainability certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED) for projects.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to integrate sustainability goals into project briefs and objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest research, regulations, and best practices in sustainable architecture and green building.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong focus on sustainable design principles and practices.
• Proven experience in delivering projects with high sustainability ratings.
• Knowledge of Passivhaus standards , energy modeling, and renewable energy systems.
• Proficiency in relevant software for sustainable design analysis (e.g., IES VE, Ecotect).
• Excellent understanding of UK building regulations with a particular emphasis on environmental performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to environmental stewardship.
