Solaris Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Solaris Engineer to join a specialist infrastructure team supporting complex enterprise environments.

You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Solaris 10 & 11 servers across Live, Development, and Test environments, while also contributing to a range of migration and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Solaris 10 & 11 physical and virtual servers
• Troubleshoot issues across UNIX/Linux environments
• Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts
• Deliver BAU support, change activities, and project work
• Support infrastructure migration and transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure service stability and performance

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience with Solaris 10 & 11
• UNIX/Linux systems administration experience
• UNIX shell scripting skills (KSH/Bash)
• Experience supporting multi-platform UNIX/Linux environments
• Good understanding of networking technologies
• Knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure services
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
