Hours: 37 hours per week

The RoleAs Systems & Resource Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring Sports Services operates efficiently, consistently and to a high standard.Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Quality Assurance Team and supporting external quality schemes, including Investors In People and Customer Service Excellence. Leading and coordinating procurement across Sports Services, including advising managers and preparing tender documentation where required. Monitoring procurement records and contract end dates. Undertaking regular efficiency reviews and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery. Supporting Area Managers in reviewing services and exploring alternative methods of delivery. Developing and implementing business improvement action plans across the Unit. Managing and maintaining Leisure Management software to ensure it is used effectively. Developing the Vitality Household Programme as a key income and participation driver. Working with Council teams and external providers to maximise the potential of ICT for income generation, financial monitoring and customer service. Reviewing and harmonising policies, procedures and working practices across Sports Services. Ensuring GDPR requirements are maintained across facilities and services. Exploring new ways of working and opportunities to improve efficiency, including staff-sharing across facilities and work streams. Building strong relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to support innovation and improved service delivery.
- A Degree or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years' experience managing a business or administrative function. At least 3 years' experience in:
- Developing operational business plans. Using ICT to support service delivery and income generation. Implementing and monitoring financial procedures. Implementing and maintaining external quality models such as Customer Excellence.
