Teaching Assistant Needed for Primary Schools in Peterborough

I C Talent is looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream primary and secondary schools. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers and school staff to support pupils in the classroom, assist with learning activities and help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and the delivery of engaging lessons.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
• Supporting pupils to understand and complete classroom tasks.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining a focused learning environment.
• Helping to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom.
• Preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
• Supporting pupils during break times, lunch times and other school activities where required.
• Working closely with teachers and other school staff to meet pupils' learning needs.
