Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Manchester, M19 Start Date: September Pay: £14.65 to £16.65 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella) Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time Contract: Long-Term
Reeson Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M19 area. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time and long-term, starting as soon as possible, and will involve supporting pupils across the EYFS with SEND, ASD, Non verbal communication needs and on a general basis.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working within th eeyfs and supporting special/learning needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and support pupils both academically and socially.
Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will primarily support learning across EYFS, assisting class teachers and providing targeted support for pupils who may require additional guidance. The Teaching Assistant will play an important role in helping pupils stay engaged, confident and motivated within the classroom environment.
Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support across EYFS
- Work alongside teachers to support learning a
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils with SEND including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation a
- Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment
- Encourage pupil engagement and participation
- Support behaviour management strategies as a Teaching Assistant
- Adapt learning resources to suit individual pupil needs
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Confidence supporting pupils across eyfs
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND as a Teaching Assistant
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
