Team Leader, Children's Residential Home (EBD)

Location: Greenford, West London We are recruiting an experienced Team Leader for a children's residential home in Greenford supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands on with young people while taking the lead on shift.

The role

• Lead shifts and make sure the home runs safely and smoothly

• Support, guide and role model good practice for residential support workers

• Help young people with their education, independence skills and emotional wellbeing

• Keep accurate records, daily logs and incident reports

• Work alongside the management team to meet Ofsted standards

What we are looking for

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or working towards it

• At least 1 year's experience in children's residential care, ideally with some shift leading experience

• Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support

• Resilient, patient and calm under pressure

• Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply) and the right to work in the UK

• [Full UK driving licence]
