Technical Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Installation Engineer to join their Installation & Maintenance team in Bristol, South West England . This role involves the precise installation, configuration, and integration of complex technical systems at client sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are performed to the highest standards, meeting all technical specifications and customer requirements. The position requires a strong understanding of the systems being installed, excellent diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding technical service and customer satisfaction within the Bristol region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission advanced technical systems and equipment.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure full operational capability and adherence to specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during or after installation.
• Provide on-site technical training and support to client personnel.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all installation activities, configurations, and test results.
• Liaise effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Installation Engineer or in a similar role within Installation & Maintenance .
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to technical challenges.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Bristol area, with occasional requirements for remote administrative updates.
