About the Role

Our client is looking for an adept Technical Installation Specialist to join their essential installation and maintenance workforce in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is pivotal in ensuring our client's advanced systems are installed correctly and operate at peak performance from day one. You will be responsible for the physical setup, configuration, and initial testing of sophisticated equipment at diverse client locations. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations that meet stringent standards, contributing to client satisfaction and operational efficiency within the North East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform expert installations of complex systems and equipment according to detailed project plans and technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough system checks and initial testing to verify functionality and performance post-installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry best practices during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Document all installation procedures, configurations, and test results meticulously for record-keeping and future reference.
• Provide basic system orientation and handover information to client representatives upon completion of installation.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a technical installation or field service role, preferably within the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to work with precision tools and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and installation manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively on-site.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
• Valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel locally and occasionally further afield.
