About the Role

Our client requires a skilled Technical Installation Specialist to join their team in the vibrant city of Cambridge . This position is vital for ensuring the precise and efficient installation of advanced systems for a range of commercial clients throughout Cambridgeshire and beyond. You will be responsible for all aspects of the installation process, from initial setup to final testing and client handover. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, technically adept, and committed to delivering exceptional quality and service in a field-based capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex installations of specialized equipment according to technical blueprints and project requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure full functionality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation and setup phase.
• Maintain detailed records of installation activities, including site surveys, progress reports, and parts inventory.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company protocols on all job sites.
• Provide professional technical support and guidance to clients during and after the installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical installation, field engineering, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and potentially IT systems integration.
• Ability to interpret and work from complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a meticulous approach to work.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be prepared for regular travel within the assigned territory.
