Location: Bridgend Salary & OTE: Up to £38,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturday overtime Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a long-term opportunity with an established and growing automotive business? We're looking for a skilled technician with 4+ years' experience to join a busy Aftersales team, working across commercial vehicles and carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll be involved in:

• Diagnosing vehicle faults
• Carrying out servicing and repairs
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying faults
• Interpreting technical information and repair instructions
• Replacing components and recording parts used
• Ensuring vehicles meet required safety standards
• Completing accurate job cards and repair records
• Working to manufacturer repair and servicing times
• Carrying out safe and economical repairs
• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices where required

About You

We're looking for:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• 4+ years' automotive experience
• Commercial vehicle experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• Previous dealership or professional workshop experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
